About Sydney Carlin

Sydney works for you.  As a member of the House Appropriations Committee Sydney is successful in securing funding for K-State faculty/staff, building maintenance, and supported recent state grants to the Colleges of Veterinary Medicine and Engineering. She directs resources to the university, and was instrumental in passing legislation that allowed for the creation of the bio-agricultural defense facility at K-State.

Sydney is experienced. Sydney works with both local and state government. Sydney initiated more than a dozen pieces of successful legislation. She is actively involved in the Manhattan business community and promotes policies to help strengthen Manhattan’s economy.

Sydney leads.  Sydney supports the expansion of the Bio-Agricultural Sciences at K-State, pushed for the reconstruction of K-18 highway, and is an avid supported of the K-State Wildcats.
